Biography
Kubanychbek Omuraliev is a Kyrgyz diplomat and international affairs expert serving as Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States since November 2022. With more than 25 years of diplomatic experience, he previously served as Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Türkiye, Belarus, Israel, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, as well as Permanent Representative to the Commonwealth of Independent States. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and contributed to international economic and anti-corruption initiatives in cooperation with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Omuraliev is widely recognized for promoting regional integration, transport connectivity, economic cooperation, and the implementation of the “Turkic World Vision–2040” strategy among Turkic states.
